SMC Series - Momentary Contact Adapters

A device to convert maintained SPST 120VAC input to momentary (2 second ON and OFF) operations. Input connections are made to a two position terminal strip. There are two sets of SPDT terminals for connecting to dry contacts (unpowered) one set for "ON" pulse and one set for "OFF" pulse. Makes possible conversion to manual pushbutton stations. Example: control for present installation has SPDT contacts, to operate a mechanically-held contactor or an electrically-held contactor with a holding circuit, with no remote manual stations required. Changing needs make manual stations desirable. Add SMC-3D series to the existing system to convert present maintained contact to a two-second momentary contact.
